AAP party of opportunists, bound to fail: P.C. Chacko
New Delhi, Mar 29: The Congress on Sunday said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is a party of opportunists and their fall was inevitable.
On AAP's internal rift, Congress spokeperson P.C Chacko said,"This is an inevitable fall of a group of opportunists."
"AAP is a unit which is only hungry for power, Chacko said, adding that "it is driven by arrogance and dictatorial tendencies."
"The party tried their best to make people believe that they are different, but they proved that they are no different," said Chacko.
The Congress leader also termed the language of Arvind Kejriwal unbecoming of a person holding the post of Chief Minister.
Earlier on Saturday, AAP's founder members Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan, Anand Kumar and Ajit Jha were expelled from the party's national executive.
Bhushan and Yadav had hit out at Kejriwal, saying that the internal democracy of the party had been lost.
