AAP MP Sanjay Singh’s ‘Give Jobs, Give Social Justice’ March Gains Momentum in UP
The Aam Aadmi Party's "Give Jobs, Give Social Justice" march continued to receive overwhelming public support on its third day on Sunday, highlighting growing concerns over unemployment and social inequality in Uttar Pradesh.
The march, led by AAP's Uttar Pradesh in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, began from Suraj Farm House in Khandoli, Agra, and entered Hathras district by the afternoon. It paused for a midday break at Radha Krishna Marriage Hall in Sadabad before continuing to Bihari Ji Farm House by evening.

Strong Public Response Along the Route
The march saw enthusiastic participation from youth, women, lawyers, and elderly citizens. People welcomed Sanjay Singh with flower showers, garlands, and slogans demanding jobs and social justice.

During the journey, groups such as education volunteers, healthcare workers, childcare workers, and street vendors stopped to share their concerns and struggles. The growing participation indicates that the march is gradually turning into a larger public movement.
Criticism Over Unemployment and Recruitment Issues
Addressing gatherings during the march, Sanjay Singh raised serious concerns about the employment situation in the state. He alleged a sharp decline in opportunities under the rural employment scheme and pointed to repeated exam cancellations and paper leaks as signs of a failing recruitment system.
He claimed that the number of families completing 100 days of work under the scheme has dropped significantly-from 615,000 to 221,000 in the financial year 2025-26.
"Out of 9.4 million applicants, only 58,000 jobs were provided. This shows the extent of unemployment among the youth," he said, also mentioning alleged irregularities in police recruitment exams and the cancellation of higher education recruitment tests.
Raising Concerns on Law and Social Justice
Speaking on social justice, Sanjay Singh said that incidents involving crimes against women, Dalits, and youth across the state point to deeper systemic failures.
He cited multiple cases from different districts, stating that such incidents are not isolated but reflect broader governance challenges. He also said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath must represent all citizens equally, regardless of caste or religion.
Attack on Central Government Policies
The AAP leader also criticised the central government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that key issues like education, healthcare, inflation, and the economy are being neglected.
He accused the government of diverting public attention away from real concerns and called for accountability on issues affecting everyday life.
Demand for Unemployment Allowance
Sanjay Singh demanded that if the government fails to provide jobs immediately, it should offer an unemployment allowance of ₹10,000 per month to jobless youth. He warned that the AAP would intensify its protests if action is not taken.
Leaders Call It a Growing Movement
Senior AAP leader Dilip Pandey said the march has evolved beyond a political campaign and is becoming a people's movement against injustice.
He added that the strong public response signals a desire for change and that the movement could grow further in the coming days.
Several party leaders and workers were present during the march, supporting the campaign and engaging with the public.
The march continues to gain momentum, placing unemployment and social justice at the centre of political debate in Uttar Pradesh.
