Delhi School Evacuated After Bomb Threat
A south Delhi school in the Pushp Vihar area on Tuesday morning received a bomb threat.

A police team along with a bomb detection squad reached the school and carried out the search and evacuation operation.
Amrita School received the threat mail at around 6.36 am, NDTV reported citing officials. The school administration then alerted the police.

Meanwhile, Chandan Chowdhary, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Delhi, said that the school has been thoroughly checked through BDT (Bomb Disposal Team) and nothing has been found.
"The school has been thoroughly checked and no suspected thing has been found," said Suresh Yadav, Sub-Inspector, Bomb Squad, Delhi Police.
Just days ago, the Delhi Public School on Mathura Road received a bomb threat via email and this turned out to be a hoax. The threat mail had claimed to blast the school around 11 am on Friday.
"Police and Bomb Disposal Squad reached the school. Later it was found that the e-mail was sent by a student. 2 Bomb Disposal teams along with dogs and local staff manually searched the school but nothing suspicious was found, it was a hoax call," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) Rajesh Deo had said.
