3 naxals killed in encounter in Chhattisgarh
Three Naxals were killed in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh's Rajnandgaon on Tuesday a day after 12 Naxals were arrested from separate places in insurgency-hit Bijapur district.

Meanwhile, NIA arrested 15 Maoists and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from Bokaro.
Bijapur Superintendent of Police Mohit Garg told PTI that six Naxals were apprehended from the forest near Dalla village under Basaguda police station limits, five from areas falling under Bedre police station and one from Tarnichhilpatpara in Jangla village.
Early this month, three Naxalites carrying cash rewards on their heads were killed in two encounters with security forces in Sukma district. According to their ranks, they carried rewards of Rs 8 lakh on their heads.
