Mumbai Police Deploy 20 Teams to Apprehend Attacker of Saif Ali Khan Following Burglary Incident
Authorities have mobilised 20 teams to apprehend the individual who attacked actor Saif Ali Khan in his Bandra apartment, Mumbai. The incident occurred early on Thursday, and police are using their network of informers to track the suspect, officials reported. The intruder, armed with a wooden stick and a Hexa blade, fled after attempting a burglary at the Satguru Sharan building.

The CCTV footage from the building captured the suspect's face at 2:33 am. He was seen wearing a brown collared T-shirt and a red scarf or gamcha while descending from the sixth floor. Saif Ali Khan resides on the 12th floor of the building. Alongside Khan, Eliyama Philip, a 56-year-old staff nurse and complainant, along with a domestic helper, sustained injuries during the attack.
Police Investigation and Search Efforts
Based on clues from the footage and other evidence, police have initiated a search for the attacker. Investigators suspect that the intruder might have changed clothes before escaping. Authorities have recorded statements from nurse Philip, house helps, and the building's guard while questioning several individuals connected to the case.
Efforts to locate the suspect include checking if he has any prior criminal history. The investigation teams are also leveraging technical support and informers' assistance to capture him. An official mentioned that these strategies are crucial in identifying and apprehending the attacker swiftly.
