2 convicts killed in gang war inside Mangaluru central prison
Mangaluru, Nov 2: Two convicts, including one who is suspected to be an aide of gangster Chota Shakeel, were killed and six injured in an alleged "gang war" inside the prison here on Monday, Nov 2.
The duo have been identified as Madoor Isubu and another prisoner Ganesh Shetty, police said. The incident took place during the breakfast assembly.

Police said they are ascertaining the reason behind the incident and also how the inmates got access to weapons.
They said initial investigation showed it was a clash between two gangs. Isbu was arrested in 2010 for his involvement in various criminal cases, including murder and rioting.
