Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s Japan Tour Focuses On Economic Collaboration And Global Outreach
From April 16 to 22, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will head the "Telangana Rising" team on a weeklong tour to Japan. This visit's primary objective is to draw in investments and showcase the state's economic potential globally.
Officials from the Indian Embassy in Japan gave CM Revanth Reddy a hearty welcome as he arrived in Tokyo. Principal Secretary V. Seshadri, Hyderabad Metro Rail Managing Director N.V.S. Reddy, and Congress MP K. Raghuveer Reddy are with him. During their tour, the delegation will visit important cities like Tokyo, Mount Fuji, Osaka, and Hiroshima, where they will meet with influential Japanese businesspeople to discuss possible joint ventures.

The trip's main event is the opening of the 'Telangana Pavilion' at the Osaka World Expo 2025. The pavilion's goal is to highlight Telangana's advances in industry and technology, positioning the state as an appealing place for worldwide partnerships. The team has booked talks with top Japanese businesses such as Sony, Toyota, Toshiba, and NTT to discuss investment prospects and collaboration in a variety of industries.
On the evening of April 16, His Excellency Shibu George, Indian Ambassador to Japan, held a dinner for CM Revanth Reddy and his staff at Tokyo's historic India House. The ceremony was attended by important Indian political personalities such as DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Congress MP K. Raghuveer Reddy, and former Union Minister Napoleon. The evening served as a forum for conversations about boosting bilateral connections, increasing investment opportunities in Telangana, and deepening subnational partnerships between Japan and India.
This diplomatic mission demonstrates Telangana's commitment to extending its global presence and creating international cooperation to boost economic growth.
