Schools Closed In Andhra Pradesh's NTR District Amid Heavy Rain Alerts In Telangana
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a "yellow alert" for four districts in Telangana-Jayashankar Bhupalapalle, Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, and Mulugu-predicting heavy rainfall on Wednesday, September 4. Additionally, an orange alert has been declared for NTR and Krishna districts in Andhra Pradesh. The Hyderabad meteorological center anticipates continued heavy rain in Telangana until September 7.
Due to the forecasted heavy rainfall, the Andhra Pradesh government has declared a holiday for schools and colleges in the NTR district on September 4. The IMD has identified a cyclonic circulation over coastal Andhra Pradesh and nearby areas and noted that a new low-pressure area may develop over the northwest Bay of Bengal around September 5.

As floodwaters begin to recede in many areas, local governments are ramping up relief operations. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.
