KCR’s Brahmastra To Seal Third Term In Telangana | OneIndia Exclusive
Election and politics in Telangana are heating up, with the Election Commission likely to release the schedule for the upcoming Assembly elections at any moment. The ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has already declared its list of candidates and started working on its manifesto, while the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are still finalizing their candidates.
The Congress party is determined to secure power in the upcoming Telangana elections. Drawing inspiration from their recent victory in Karnataka, party leaders are optimistic about favourable conditions in Telangana. Prime Minister Modi's recent announcement of benefits for Telangana has also fuelled the competition, with the BJP now actively participating in the race.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister KCR is employing strategic moves to maintain his position. KCR is gearing up to make a significant announcement aimed at enhancing the welfare initiatives already in place and gaining more support from the women's vote bank. These strategic moves reflect the parties' determination to secure a consecutive win in the Telangana elections.
In an effort to garner support from farmers, youth and women, KCR has been actively involved in crafting a manifesto. Collaborating with experts from different domains, the BRS chief KCR is engaged in discussions regarding the financial implications of the promised initiatives and assessing their feasibility.
Reports suggest that four new schemes are being considered for an announcement, in addition to the expansion of existing welfare programs. There are indications of a potential increase of Rs. 1000 in old age and widow pensions. Furthermore, there are discussions surrounding the possibility of raising pensions for farmers and women and providing subsidies for gas. These efforts highlight the government's commitment to address the needs of various sections of society in Telangana.
There are indications that the state tax share VAT on petrol and diesel may be reduced, offering some relief to consumers. Additionally, numerous schemes are being considered to benefit various sections of society, including free fertilizers for farmers, unemployment benefits, increased support pensions, and enhancements to the Kalyan Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak schemes. The Rythubandhu aid may also see an increase of Rs. 1000 per acre, while the Kalyan Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak schemes could be raised to Rs. 1.25 lakhs.
BRS leader and Chief Minister KCR, determined to counter the opposition in the upcoming election, is diligently preparing for the battle ahead. The BRS manifesto is reportedly nearing completion, and CM KCR is poised to deploy a powerful arsenal of schemes, leaving little room for the opposition to seize an advantage. These efforts underscore the party's resolve to secure victory in the Telangana elections.
