Evening storms expected across the city
According to the IMD, scattered thunderstorms may develop by evening, bringing brief but intense showers in several localities. The advisory comes amid concerns over lightning, squalls and sudden gusty winds associated with convective weather systems.

Authorities have urged people to keep an eye on local forecasts and plan outdoor travel carefully through the day.
Rain activity in surrounding districts
Apart from Hyderabad, neighbouring districts are also likely to experience rain. Weather enthusiast T Balaji said, "scattered storms and moderate rains are expected in Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Kamareddy, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Suryapet till evening."
However, conditions are expected to stabilise after nightfall, with mainly dry weather predicted across Telangana.
