Hyderabad Traffic Restrictions Today: Diversions From 4 PM to 10 PM For Sikh Guru Anniversary, Check Routes

The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced temporary traffic restrictions and diversions in parts of the city due to a religious procession marking the 396th birth anniversary of Sikh Guru Sri Guru Har Rai Saheb Ji.

The restrictions will be enforced on Sunday, February 1, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, as heavy vehicular movement is expected along the procession route.

The procession will begin from Gurudwara Kishanbagh and conclude at the same location. Traffic congestion is anticipated in areas falling under the Rajendranagar and Falaknuma traffic police limits during this period.

Traffic Curbs During Procession Start

When the procession begins from Gurudwara Saheb Barambala, vehicles travelling from Bahadurpura X Roads towards Chintalment will be diverted at Kishanbagh X Roads towards NM Guda. Similarly, traffic coming from Chintalmet and MM Pahadi will be diverted at 9 Number X Roads towards NM Guda to ease congestion.

Restrictions at NM Guda and Surrounding Areas

As the procession takes a right turn at NM Guda, traffic moving from the Golden Palace Hotel side towards Kishanbagh will be stopped at NM Guda. Vehicles from this stretch will instead be allowed to proceed towards 9 Number X Roads.

Diversions on Kishanbagh Road

Once the procession enters Kishanbagh Road, traffic coming from Bahadurpura X Roads towards Kishanbagh will be diverted at Kishanbagh X Roads towards Pakeeja Hotel. Additionally, when the procession takes a right turn at Kishanbagh X Road, vehicles coming from Chintalment will be diverted at 9 Number X Roads towards NM Guda.

Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly, follow traffic advisories, and cooperate with traffic police personnel to avoid inconvenience during the restricted hours.
