Andhra Weather Update: Tirupati, 11 Other Districts To Get Heavy Rains For Next 3 Days
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. This weather is expected over the next three days, affecting districts such as Krishna, Guntur, Bapatla, Prakasam, Nellore, Tirupati, Annamayya, Chittoor, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Konaseema, and West Godavari from November 11 to 14.
Farmers in these areas have been advised to take precautions during paddy harvesting and other agricultural activities. The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority has urged residents to stay alert due to the predicted weather conditions.

Weather Patterns and Cyclonic Circulation
A cyclonic circulation persists over the southwest Bay of Bengal. It extends up to 5.8 km above sea level and leans southeastwards. This system may develop into a low-pressure area moving slowly westward towards Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka's coasts over the next two days.
A trough from the southwest Bay of Bengal to the east-central Bay of Bengal is also impacting local weather patterns. Its effects extend up to 1.5 km above sea level.
Impact on Southern States
The IMD predicts heavy rainfall across southern states like Tamil Nadu and Kerala from November 12 to 15 due to a low-pressure area forming over the southwest Bay of Bengal. This will bring mild to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms and lightning.
Coastal and South Interior Karnataka might experience severe rains on November 14. Meanwhile, dense fog is anticipated in parts of northwest Rajasthan, West Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh in the coming days.
The forecasted weather conditions highlight the importance of preparedness for residents in affected areas. Staying informed about updates can help mitigate potential risks associated with heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.
