Poll Updates: 79% voter turnout recorded in Assam

Guwahati, Apr 11: Sixty-one assembly constituencies will go to polls today in the second and final phase of Assembly elections in Assam.

The polling will be held from 7 a.m. till 5 p.m. at 12,699 polling stations in the 61 constituencies spread across 13 districts. 525 candidates are in the fray in this second and final round of voting in Assam.
