Bodo militants kill 32 people in 36 hours in Assam

after 32 people were killed by Bodoland militants in separate attacks in Kokrajhar and Baksa districts.

Seven more bodies were recovered on Saturday taking the death toll upto 32 .Five of the bodies were of children who were killed in the attacks.

The Army has been called and shoot at sight orders have been given in Kokrajhar and Baksa districts. Army troops have staged flag marches and are trying to bring the situation under control.

National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) militants opened fire on Friday in Balpara village in Kokrajhar killing seven people on the spot. Many women and chidlren were injured in the attacks.
