Huge motorcade carries Senator John McCain’s body
US Senator John McCain, who had been suffering from brain cancer, breathed his last on Saturday, August 25, while being surrounded by his family. As is seen in the video, a huge motorcade took the body of the former war veteran and presidential candidate to a mortuary in Phoenix late on Saturday. Dozens of people took a glimpse of the procession along Interstate 17.

According to The Hill, McCain, who was 81, will lie in state at Arizona Capitol and in Capital Rotunda in Washington before his funeral. The former Arizona senator was just four days short of turning 82.

Bradley Bell shared this video of the motorcade on Instagram and wrote: "I had the privilege to see American Hero Sen. John McCain's procession coming back to PHX on the I-17."
