This woman in flood-hit Kerala is doing the most daring act of her life

The state of Kerala has been devastated by a massive flood recently, killing several hundreds of people and displacing several lakhs.

But even for those who have survived the deluge, life has not been easy and safe since several animals from the wild have come to take shelter in their homes as they fled. And among them, snakes have become a menace.

In the video above, a woman is seen trying to scare away a massive python with a stick after the reptile tried to enter her house. It is not easy to shoo away such a big snake but the woman has gathered all the courage to do it to save her own household. The woman beats the ground with a stick to force the eight-feet-long python go away.

The incident occurred in Chengannur in Kerala's Alappuzha district on August 23.
