You Don't Go Around Beating Up People, Killing Them: Ramya Slams Darshan, Pavithra Gowda

Actress Divya Spandana aka Ramya has slammed Darshan and Pavithra Gowda in connection with the murder case of Renuka Swamy.

In social media post, the actress said that one can block the user who sends abusive messages. She pointed out her own example of seeking legal help to handle trolls on internet.

She wrote, "There's a block option given on social media for a reason. If the trolling persisits, you file a complaint. The trolls have trolled me incessantly using filthy language. Not just me, they've trolled other actors too. They haven't spared their wives and children either. What a sad society we live in. I have filed cases like any law abiding citizen should Sometimes post a warning from the police to the trolls I've taken back the case too on compassionate grounds."

However, Ramya, known as Golden Girl of the Kannada film industry, said that people ruin their future by wasting their time on social media to troll people.

The actress-turned-politician stated, "I've also considered the fact tht these people are young and have a future ahead and they're runing/wasting their lives by trolling using anonymous handles."

She then said that people should not take law into their hands. "No one is above the law. No one should take law in to theri hands. You don't go around beating up people and killing them. A simple complaint would suffice whether you believe justive will be serve or not," Ramya wrote.

Renuka Swamy was allegedly murdered by the aides of Darshan for allegedly sending an obscene message to his friend Pavithra Gowda. He was assaulted brutally at a shed in Kamakshi Palya before throwing the body in a drainage.

She also thanked the cops while seeking justice in the sexual assault cases related to former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna.

Ramya concluded, "A word of appreciation and respect for the police officers discharging their duties. It's a thankless job. And they're doing their best.
