Why Did Naga Chaitanya Choose Annapurna Studios In Hyderabad For His Marriage To Sobhita Dhulipala?

Celebrity couple Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have decided to have a simple wedding filled with Telugu rituals, as per Nagarjuna. He also explained why they opted to tie the knot at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.

Speaking to The Times of India, Nagarjuna said that the wedding will be held on December 4. He told The daily: "With this being my father's centenary year, I felt it would be fitting to seek his blessings by having the wedding here. Annapurna Studios is not just a film hub but also a part of our family's legacy, built by my father's vision. It's a beautiful place, and December is such a lovely season. Chaitanya didn't want a big wedding; he and Sobhita both preferred a gathering of close family and friends. The studio gardens provide the perfect setting for a warm, intimate celebration,"

According to him, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita have taken the responsibility of the marriage arrangements which is a big relief for him. He added, "They wanted to do it their way, and honestly, it was a huge relief! I said please do. (laughs) The infrastructure is already here - lights, sets, everything. We host at least ten mock weddings here every year. So, it's the easiest choice for all of us,"

The wedding is expected to be attended by 300-400 guests. He also revealed that it will be a attended by close friends and a couple of people from film industry. However, it will be a Telugu wedding. He added, "Sobhita's parents were clear about wanting to include all the rituals, and I was completely on board. I find the chants and ceremonies so soothing - they bring a sense of peace. It's going to be a lovely wedding, simple and heartfelt, just like the couple." While the focus is on the wedding for now, Nagarjuna mentioned the possibility of a reception later. "Right now, it's all about the wedding. We'll see about the reception later."

Naga Chaitanya was earlier married to actress Samantha. After being in a relationship for a few years, they tied the knot in 2017 in Goa. However, they parted ways in 2021.

Naga Chaitanya got engaged to Sobitha in August earlier this year.
