When Is Naga Chaitanya-Sobhita Dhulipala's Marriage? Here's What Nagarjuna Says

In a development that took many by surprise, Naga Chaitanya got engaged to Sobhita Dhulipala in a private event on Thursday. It came two years after he announced separation with his first wife and actress Samantha.

The sudden engagement has sparked curiosity among fans, who are eager to know when Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will tie the knot. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya's father, addressed the speculation.

When Is Naga Chaitanya-Sobhita Dhulipala s Marriage Here s What Nagarjuna Says

"Not immediately, Subhash," Nagarjuna said, hinting that the wedding is not around the corner. "We chose to have a hurried engagement because it was an auspicious day, and since Chay and Sobhita are very sure that they want to marry, we said, let's do it."

His words clearly indicate that the marriage is not happening immediately but one might still wonder it might happen in the next 12 months as there was no reason for hurried engagement. Nonetheless, this topic will be a subject of lot of speculations.

Talking about his daughter-in-law to-be, Nag said, "Sobhita is a wonderful girl, very sober grounded and not at all like a typical actress. I have always counted my blessings in life. Now I feel God has given me everything. I can't ask for anymore."

Nagarjuna also claimed that his son had gone into depression after the divorce from Samantha. ""It has not been an easy time for Chay or the family. The separation (from Samantha) left him very depressed. My boy doesn't show his feelings to anyone. But I knew he was unhappy. To see him smile again... Sobhita and Chay make a wonderful couple. They love each other dearly," he added.

Meanwhile, Sobhita has shared a poem on her Instagram page following the engagement. She also shared a few photos with the below caption:

What could my mother be
to yours?
What kin is my father
to yours anyway?
And how did you and I meet ever?
But in love our hearts
are as red earth and pouring rain:
mingled beyond parting.
