Trisha Married To Rich Businessman? Actress Shoots Down Rumours Amid Link-Up Speculations With Vijay

Trisha Krishnan has shot down the latest rumours around her even as she is linked-up with actor and TVK founder Vijay. In one single social media post, she has dismissed all the speculations - from marrying rich businessman to quitting films.

Taking to Instagram, Trisha responded with characteristic wit. "Apparently, I've quit films. Married a rich businessman and I'm raising quadruplets who turned two yesterday. Anything else I should add or did we cover today's fiction quota?" she wrote, making light of the rumours that have been circulating.

Reports had suggested that the actress was stepping away from cinema and had stopped accepting new projects. Her post, however, made it clear that she remains very much active in the industry.

This is not the first time Trisha has used social media to address speculation. Recently, she shared a series of reflective posts that drew attention for their candid tone. In one story, she wrote: "Love is not everything, and yet everything is meaningless without love," labelling it a "Fact."

Another post carried a longer reflection on the value of peace over conflict. "I'm at a stage in my life where I don't argue anymore. If you say an elephant can fly, you're absolutely right. Not because I agree but because I don't care enough to convince you. Peace is more valuable than being right. Silence is cheaper than explaining, and not everyone deserves your energy. Some arguments are not misunderstandings; they are invitations to drain you. So, I decline, smile, and keep my peace."

She also shared a clip emphasising the futility of trying to manage other people's opinions. The voiceover stated: "You cannot control or dictate the attitudes of others. All you can do is live your best life. Be a decent person, live and speak with integrity, and rest easy knowing you did your best today. You can't please everybody. There will always be people who don't like your hair, your face, your voice, or your beliefs."

Speculation about Vijay and Trisha intensified last month when the pair were seen together at producer Kalpathi S. Suresh's son's wedding reception in Chennai. They greeted the newlyweds, posed for photographs, and left the venue together, fuelling renewed gossip.
Rumours linking the two have persisted for over two years, though neither has offered clarification. For Vijay, such speculation has occasionally been used by political opponents as a tool to criticise him.

The duo's professional association dates back to 2004, when they starred in Ghilli, a blockbuster that cemented their popularity as an on-screen pair. They went on to collaborate in Thirupaachi, Aathi and Kuruvi, before reuniting after fifteen years in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo (2023), which reignited public interest in their chemistry.

For now, Trisha's sharp dismissal of the latest rumours suggests she is more focused on her career and personal peace than on gossip.
