There has been considerable buzz around the film The Sabarmati Report , which is inspired by the 2002 Godhra train accident in Gujarat. The filmmakers state that the Vikrant Massey film seeks to illuminate the real events connected to the tragic incident.
The film has garnered praise from audiences and politicians alike, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. In a recent development, the Chief Minister of an Indian state has declared the film tax-free. Here's the state where The Sabarmati Report will be exempt from tax.

The Sabarmati Report Goes Tax-Free
Directed by Dheeraj Sarna, The Sabarmati Report has sparked significant controversy. However, it has also received praise from a section of viewers, with accolades for its star cast and production team. Now, Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister, Dr. Mohan Yadav, has announced that the film will be made tax-free in the state.
At a press conference, the Chief Minister shared his thoughts on Vikrant Massey's film: "The Sabarmati Report is an exceptional film, and I intend to watch it in theatres. Along with this, we have decided to make the film tax-free in our state. We've also urged our cabinet leaders to view the movie. The reason for this decision is to ensure that more people watch the film and understand the truth behind the incident."
Making a film tax-free typically boosts its box office revenue as ticket prices are lowered, attracting larger audiences to theatres.
PM Modi's Praise for The Sabarmati Report
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently watched The Sabarmati Report and took to his official X handle to express his appreciation. "Truth never hides, and it always comes out one day. This truth is reflected in The Sabarmati Report," his tweet read.
