'Stree 2' Box Office Collection: Here's How Much It Has Earned From Pre Sales, So Far
'Stree 2', featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has broken advance booking records, outdoing 'Kalki 2898 AD' and 'Fighter'. With over 300,000 tickets sold, it's poised for a historic opening, indicating a strong box office performance.
The advance booking of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's Hindi movie 'Stree 2' has met with good response from the fans
The horror-comedy from Maddock Films has garnered an impressive amount in advance bookings, surpassing Prabhas' 'Kalki 2898 AD' and Hrithik Roshan's 'Fighter'.

Competing against Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham's 'Vedaa', 'Stree 2' has emerged as the clear leader. As of 9:30 am on August 14, the film's day-one collections in advance bookings stand at 11.60 crore, excluding paid previews.
Trade analysts say that the movie might mint over Rs 35-40 crore on day 1, thereby becoming the biggest opener of 2024 in Bollywood.
Record-Breaking Pre-Sales
The film's pre-sales have outpaced those of other high-budget blockbusters like 'Kalki 2898 AD' (Rs 8.59 crore) and Hrithik Roshan's 'Fighter' (Rs 8.60 crore). With over 300,000 tickets already sold, 'Stree 2' is on track to break even more records.
With one more day remaining for advance bookings, the film could surpass the 15 crore mark, potentially overtaking Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki'. If this happens, 'Stree 2' will hold the record for the biggest advance for a Bollywood title since Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal'. Such high demand suggests a massive opening day, with estimates ranging from Rs 30 crore net and beyond.
Sequel to a Surprise Hit
For those unfamiliar, the film is a sequel to 'Stree', which was released in 2018. The first installment received mostly positive reviews and became a surprise hit, earning Rs 129.67 crore at the Indian box office. Given its past success, the sequel has generated significant interest among audiences.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, 'Stree 2' also features Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in key roles.
Poster, A Rip Off Of 'Stranger Things'
Shraddha Kapoor recently shared a new poster for the film with the caption, "Woh Stree hai, woh kuch bhi kar sakti hai! Isilye woh aa rahi hai ek raat pehle, just for you." However, as soon as the poster appeared on social media, some netizens pointed out its striking resemblance to Netflix's web series 'Stranger Things’.
