Late Sidhu Moosewala's dad welcomes son

Balkaur captioned the post in Punjabi, expressing gratitude for the blessings of millions who loved Shubdeep. He shared the joyous news of welcoming Shubh's younger brother into their family, thanking Waheguru for the family's health. Balkaur also expressed appreciation to all well-wishers for their abundant love. He welcomed the baby with his wife, Charan Kaur.

What Balkaur had said about Charan's pregnancy

According to a report by Hindustan Times, it was confirmed by family sources to Tribune in February that IVF (In vitro fertilisation) treatment was undergone by Sidhu's mother, Charan Kaur, and she was successful in conceiving a baby, due in March. It was further stated in the report that Charan's pregnancy was confirmed by Sidhu Moosewala's uncle Chamkaur Singh.

Last week, rumours circulating about his family were addressed by Balkaur, who requested everyone not to believe them. A post in Punjabi was shared on his official Facebook account, expressing gratitude to Sidhu's concerned fans but pleading for the disregard of numerous circulating rumours about the family, stating that any news would be shared by the family themselves.

Tragic Demise of Sidhu Moosewala

On May 29, 2022, Sidhu Moosewala, aged 28, was fatally shot in Mansa. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Mansa Civil Hospital after assailants fired over 30 rounds at him.

The incident occurred a day subsequent to the withdrawal of his security cover, part of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann government's initiative to curb VIP culture in the state. Sidhu, who contested in the previous Assembly election from Mansa on a Congress ticket, was defeated by AAP's Vijay Singla.
