The announcement came through a post on her Instagram handle, where she informed fans about the hacking incident.

Shruti Haasan's official account shared unusual posts related to bitcoin and promotional content. Her last genuine post, dated June 23, expressed her fondness for gloomy weather, stating it made her feel happier and inspired to write. This incident prompted her to alert fans about the hacking.

Recently, Shruti captivated audiences with a dynamic performance at the Thug Life audio launch in Chennai. She delivered a live rendition of Vinveli Nayaga in front of music composer AR Rahman and the film's cast. This event marked a significant collaboration between Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan after nearly three decades since Nayakan.

The film Thug Life hit theatres earlier this month but did not perform well at the box office. Despite this, Shruti's performance at the launch was widely appreciated by attendees and fans alike.

Looking ahead, Shruti will appear in Lokesh Kanagaraj's action thriller Coolie. Produced by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures, the film features an ensemble cast including Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Sundeep Kishan, and Reba Monica John.
