The film has garnered $1.7 million from screenings across 1,245 theatres over its first two days (Thursday and Friday).
Meanwhile, 'Interstellar' sits in fifth place, having earned $1.37 million within the same timeframe following an IMAX re-release in 165 theatres. It remains to be seen how 'Pushpa 2' continues to perform over the coming days.
