Speaking at a party event, Vijay said the NEET exams has turned out to be a bug struggle for the stydents from backward, most backward and oppressed communities. "People have lost faith in NEET examination. The nation doesn't need NEET. Exemption from NEET is the only solution. He also said that the students studied in the state syllabus cannot take the NEET test under NCERT syllabus.

"How students who studied in state syllabus can take NEET which is under NCERT syllabus? The recent mishap in the NEET exam took away all its credibility. Diversity is strength and not weakness," he added.

His party has organised a meet to honour the top-performing students from class 10 and 12 across Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Last week, he had met the students from Ariyalur, Coimbatore, Dharmapuri, Dindugal, Erode, Kanniyakumar, Karur, Krishnagiri, Madurai, Namakkal, Niligiris, Pudukottai, Ramanathapuram, Salem, Sivagangai, Tenkasi, Theni, Thuthukudi, Tirunelveli, Tiruppur and Virudhunagar districts.

On July 3, Vijay honoured students from the other districts like Chengalpattu, Chennai, Cuddalore, Kallakurichi, Kancheepuram, Karaikal, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Perambalur, Puducherry, Ranipet, Tanjore, Thiruvallur, Tiruvannamalai, Thiruvarur, Tirupattur, Trichy, Vellore and Villupuram.

In his first meet, Vijay encouraged students to steer clear of detrimental habits and emphasized the importance of maintaining their individuality. "Some students have a clear vision of their future aspirations, while others may need guidance," he remarked. "Consult your parents, teachers, and career counselors for advice. Remember, success comes to those who put their best efforts into their chosen field."

Highlighting the influence of friendships, Vijay urged students to choose their companions wisely. "While friendships form naturally, it's crucial to steer friends away from negative influences. Cultivating self-discipline is key," he advised.

During the event, Vijay made a symbolic gesture by wearing a tilak, applied with affection by a woman, and sitting alongside Chinnadurai, a student from Nanguneri affected by caste discrimination, making a subtle political statement.
