Kannada Actor Shivarajkumar Expresses Confidence Before Undergoing Health Surgery Abroad
Dr. Shivarajkumar, a prominent figure in the film industry, is currently facing significant health challenges. In recent developments, he made the journey to the United States on December 18 for surgery, having previously received medical treatment locally. Despite the circumstances, Shivarajkumar conveyed a message of optimism and confidence to the press, stating, "I am confident. I am very positive." He acknowledged a sense of anxiety and emotional turmoil upon departing, particularly when bidding farewell to family members, but reaffirmed his positive outlook and confidence in facing the situation.
In an expression of his resilience, Shivarajkumar shared insights into his emotional state, revealing, "It will be painful. It doesn't matter if it is a small gap. But now I am leaving home, town, and country for 5 weeks. It will be a little painful." He also highlighted the support and well-wishes extended by fans and colleagues alike, noting the comforting concern from not only his supporters but also from fans of other stars. The empathy and discretion shown by the media, who refrained from sensationalizing his health condition, were particularly gratifying to him.

Shivarajkumar has scheduled his return from the United States for January 26, having booked his flight for January 25. He expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love from his fans, promising to reciprocate their affection. Despite his absence during the New Year celebrations, he extended his best wishes for 2025 to everyone. Accompanied by his wife Geetha, daughter Nivedita, and expecting the arrival of Minister Madhu Bangarappa on December 28, Shivarajkumar's journey is a familial affair, marked by a collective hope for a swift recovery.
The actor also took a moment to extend his best wishes for the Kannada film industry, expressing hope for the success of upcoming movies, including "Upendra's UI," set for release on December 20, and " Sudeep's 'Max'," releasing on December 25. His positive sentiment for these films underscores his enduring connection to the industry and his desire for its prosperity.
Before his departure, Shivarajkumar was reassured by medical professionals following a series of health checks, including heart rate, blood, and urine tests, all of which returned positive results. This medical clearance, accompanied by encouragement from the doctors, has fortified his resolve. He mentioned, "Here is the heart rate, blood, urine, everything has been checked. All the reports have come back positive. So, the doctors here have filled me with courage saying, 'Go ahead, everything will be fine'." This sentiment reflects not only his personal courage but also the support system rallying around him during this challenging period.
