Jolly LLB 3 OTT Release Update: Not 1, Akki's Film To Be Available In 2 Digital Platforms

The stage is set for the digital release of Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi's Jolly LLB is on. The movie will be available for watching online from November 14.

Well, not in one platform, but Jolly LLB 3 will release on two OTT platforms. Yes, you heard it right. It will be out on Netflix and Jio Hotstar.

A source told Bollywood Hungama: "Usually, a filmmaker signs an exclusive deal with only one streaming giant for his/her film. In case of Jolly LLB 3, it is expected to be available on two platforms - Netflix as well as JioHotstar. That's the reason both the platforms were mentioned in the opening slate of the film."

Well, it is still not sure which platform will stream the movie first or there will be simultaneously being released in the two platforms.

The trend of releasing a movie in multiple platforms is picking up in film industry as the OTT platforms try to generate extra revenue. A fine example for this is John Abraham's Tehran was first released on Zee5 on August 14 and then in Netflix on August 28. There was two weeks gap.

Mimi (2021) and Dasvi (2022) saw the digital releases simultaneously on Netflix and Jio Cinema. So, people are curious to know where the movie will be released first. Likewise, Vetrimaaran's Viduthalai 2 was released on both Zee5 and Amazon Prime Video with three months gap.

On the other hand, Jolly LLB, which was released on 19 September, has earned Rs 116.5 crore at the India box office.
