The film, produced by Nani under his Wall Poster Cinema banner, blends elements of courtroom drama and emotional storytelling. The audience and criticise have hailed the movie for its gripping narrative and strong performances from the cast.
On its first day, Court - State Vs. A Nobody witnessed an occupancy rate of 38.12% in morning shows and collected over ₹60 lakh, so far, according to box-office tracker Sacnilk. With movie garnering fairly positive reviews, the Telugu flick is expected to do well over the weekend.
The film performed well in major Telugu-speaking areas, with Hyderabad leading the way, recording a 42% occupancy across 323 shows in the morning slot. Visakhapatnam (Vizag) and Guntur also saw encouraging numbers, with 53% and 57% occupancy, respectively, signaling strong audience interest in these regions. Other notable regions included Karimnagar (41%), Warangal (36%), and Vijayawada (26%), showcasing a positive response from the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana markets.
However, the response in the non-Telugu regions, including Chennai, Mumbai, and the National Capital Region (NCR) are negligible.
Story & Review:
The Telugu film revolves around Chandu (Harsh Roshan), a young boy caught in a legal web under the POCSO Act. With his fate hanging in the balance, lawyer Teja (Priyadarshi) steps in to fight for justice. What follows next should be watched onscreen.
The movie keeps the audience engaged despite its predictable storyline. More importantly, the brilliant one-liners and compelling performances make it a must-watch for fans of courtroom dramas.
Priyadarshi and Sivaji steal the show with their standout acting, adding depth to the legal drama. Though the love story segments slightly slow down the pacing, the film remains an engaging watch with a thought-provoking narrative.
