Shivaraj Kumar's Bhairathi Ranagal has succesfully completed its first-week theatrical run across Karnataka on Friday.

As per the trade reports, the Kannada movie has earned over Rs 15 rore in the week one.

It is neo-noir action thriller film directed by Narthan. It a prequel to hit movie Mufti. Produced by Shivanna's wife, Geetha, the film boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Rahul Bose, Rukmini Vasanth, Devaraj, Chaya Singh, Madhu Guruswamy, Vasishta N. Simha, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and Babu Hirannaiah.

The movie explores the backstory of Bhairathi Ranagal, a principled lawyer who eventually becomes the feared mining-mafia king of Karnataka. Set in the village of Ronapura, it follows the character's transformation from a justice-driven young boy to a man forced to adopt ruthless methods when the law fails him. His clash with industrialist Parande, played by Rahul Bose, in a gripping legal and moral battle sets the stage for his descent into the gangster world depicted in Mufti.

The film's cinematic experience is elevated by Ravi Basrur's music, Naveen Kumar's cinematography, and Akash Hiremath's sharp editing.
