TV anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj has now come under scanner with social media users now dragging past video clips from her television show into the controversy. A netizen has shared a compilation video highlighting what were described as "creepy" and "vulgar" remarks allegedly made during her on-screen interactions, triggering a renewed debate on selective outrage and double standards.

The video, which has since gone viral, points to several instances of double-meaning jokes and suggestive comments used on her show, questioning Anasuya's moral stance in the ongoing argument. While sharing the clip, the user accused her of having earlier encouraged or laughed along with sexist, body-shaming and crude humour, especially during collaborations with comedian Hyper Aadhi. The post, however, also clarified that the user did not support Sivaji's remarks, calling instead for ethical and consistent criticism.

This development follows Sivaji's controversial statements made on Monday night at the pre-release event of his upcoming film Dhandoraa. Speaking at the event, the actor commented on how Telugu actresses should dress, suggesting that clothing should be modest and that traditional attire such as sarees better reflected a woman's beauty. Netizens argued that her condemnation of Sivaji lacked consistency, given her past on-screen conduct.
