Amaran 1st Day Box Office Collection: Sivakarthikeyan's Film Set To Become 3rd Biggest Opener Of 2024

Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan's much-awaited biographical war action drama Amaran, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, has taken a solid opening with good advance bookings.

This has marked Amaran as the highest-grossing opening for Sivakarthikeyan to date, with expectations of an impressive Rs 15 crore gross start in Tamil Nadu alone. This would place it as the third biggest Tamil opening of 2024, surpassing Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 (Rs 13 crore) and just behind Thalapathy Vijay's The GOAT (Rs 29.50 crore) and Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan (Rs 20.50 crores), as per the trade reports.

This would be a career milestone for Sivakarthikeyan, who continues to solidify his standing as one of Tamil cinema's most popular stars.

The movie has been released in multiple languages - Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam - languages.
