After Divorce With Samantha, Naga Chaitanya To Marry Anushka Shetty? Here's The Truth

Ever since ex-couple Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation in 2021, a lot has been said about them. There were also rumours of them finding new partners.

Amid these reports, there are speculations that Naga Chaitanya would marry actress Anushka Shetty. Some websites and YouTube channels have started claiming that they are set to tie the knot.

For unversed, Anushka Shetty started off her career in Tollywood with 'Super', which starred Chaitanya's father Nagarjuna in the lead. At one time, she was linked up with Nagarjuna himself and later in 2011, there were rumours that she got engaged with Naga Chaitanya.

In an earlier interview with a daily, Nagarjuna had spoken about his son's engagement rumours. "He (Naga Chaitanya) was shooting in Switzerland when that rumour spread. I called him up early morning and said, 'hey, you got engaged to Anushka last night and you didn't even tell me...' He said, 'Woahh, really...' and laughed aloud. I called Anushka too and we all had a good laugh."

In another interview, he criticized the media for bizarrely associating rumours of a romantic link with an actress to both the father and the son.

This rumour died once Anushka was linked up with her 'Baahubali' co-star Prabhas.

However, now, again, there are reports which claim that Anushka and Naga Chaitanya are getting ready for marriage. But there seems to be no truth in it.

It is because both Naga Chaitanya and Anushka have not made any announcement as such about their relationship.

As per the media, Naga Chaitanya is currently dating Sobhita Dhulipala. A source had told IndiaToday website in September 2023: "There is no truth to the rumours of Naga getting married again to a non-filmy personality. He is still dating Sobhita and they are going strong."

The same source had said that the couple was planning to announce their relationship soon. "The couple has been discussing and considering the idea of making their relationship public soon. They are not shy about accepting their love openly in public anymore," the source added.

It all started after a picture of them together went viral.

Responding to the rumours, Dhulipala had said, "For people who speak without knowledge, I don't think I need to answer them. I don't feel the urge to clarify things when I'm not doing anything wrong and it is not my business. Instead of answering or clarifying about things people write with half-knowledge, one must focus on your life, improve it, be calm, and try to be a good person."

It may be recalled that Naga Chaitanya had married Samantha in 2017.
