Pre-plan murder in Dehradun: Man kills girlfriend, posts selfie on WhatsApp
Dehradun, Feb 7: In a sensational murder case, a 27-year-old youth slit throat of her 30-year-old beloved, before clicking a selfie with her.
After committing the cold-blooded murder, the accused, named Ashish Kumar alias Monu, posted that selfie as his display picture on WhatsApp and put his status that he is done away with his married girlfriend and described her with abusive words. He even informed about his girlfriend's murder by sending SMSes to his close friends.

TOI reported that shocking incident took place on Friday, Feb 5 evening, near tea estate in Prem Nagar area of Dehradun.
The deceased was identified as Gurpreet Kaur. Earlier, Kumar tried to strangulate her but then he slit her throat, killing her instantly.
According to police, Kumar didn't like Gurpreet interacting with her other male friends.
Gurpreet and her husband Gurjeet Singh were married from last five years and the couple was staying at rent at Kumar's house on Tyagi road.
Kumar had reportedly borrowed Rs 2 lakh from the couple, but he had been refusing to return the huge amount, due to which the duo had shifted to another house, two months ago.
