Heavy to very heavy rains likely in Uttarakhand over next 3 days
New Delhi, May 10: The hill state of Uttarakhand is likely to witness "heavy to very heavy rainfall" over the next three days, the MeT department today said in a forecast.
"Heavy to very heavy rain likely at isolated places in Uttarakhand. Thunderstorm accompanied with squall/hail likely in Himachal Pradesh," the weather department said, adding the forecast was for May 10 to 12.

Flash floods and landslides sue to heavy rains are common in Uttarakhand due to monsoon season.
In 2013, hundreds of people died and many went missing in one of the worst natural disasters in the country.
