At least 16 dead in Nainital bus accident

, Oct 21: At least 16 people were killed when a bus in which they were

rolled down a gorge in Nainital, police said Monday.

The incident took place near Kaladungi town Sunday evening. Around 50 people were in the ill-fated bus, which was returning from a marriage held in Barapatthar area.

At least 13 people died on the spot while three died in hospital.
