Debate: Did JD(S) and BSP forge alliance to defeat Congress?
What is your say on the new political equation in the state?
Janata Dal (Secular) or JD(S) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) forged a pre-poll alliance in Karnataka. Former PM HD Deve Gowda and Ku. Mayawati have come together throw a tough competition in the upcoming elections. BSP will contest 20 of the 224 seats, and JD (S) announced candidates for 126 seats in the first list. Its alliance partners BSP and NCP are likely to be accommodated in the second list as the JD(S) will only contest from 58 of the remaining 98 seats. Karnataka Assembly has 224 seats.
