TVK Maanaadu Date: When Will Vijay's Political Rally Be Held In Madurai? Thalapathy Announces
With the 2026 Tamil Nadu assembly elections looming, the political landscape is buzzing, and the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), led by actor Vijay, is poised to make a significant statement with its second state-level mega conference in Madurai. Following the success of their first convention in Villupuram, the TVK is pulling out all stops to ensure this Madurai event surpasses expectations and solidifies its presence in the state's political arena.
The foundation stone laying ceremony for the highly anticipated conference was held earlier today (Wednesday) in Paraippathi, Madurai. This marks the official commencement of preparations for what promises to be a massive gathering. Party insiders indicate that the event is expected to be even larger than the first conference.

A Strong Stance and CM Candidacy
The decision to hold the conference in Madurai comes on the heels of crucial announcements from the TVK's working committee meeting held in Panayur, Chennai, on July 4th.
During this meeting, party leader Vijay unequivocally declared that TVK would not align with the DMK or the BJP, effectively confirming a four-cornered contest in the upcoming elections.
Furthermore, Vijay was officially declared as the party's Chief Ministerial candidate for the 2026 elections, and empowered to make all alliance decisions. These bold statements have set the stage for the Madurai conference to be a pivotal moment for the party, where Vijay is expected to elaborate on TVK's ideology and vision for Tamil Nadu.
When Will Maanaadu 2 Be Held In Madurai?
Preparations for the mega conference are already in motion. Around 70 to 100 acres of land have been identified and are being meticulously cleaned for the event. The chosen location is near the Eliyarpathi toll booth on the Madurai-Thoothukudi National Highway, specifically in Paraippathi. Key executives, including General Secretary Bussi Anand, were present at the Bhoomi Pooja, signifying the party's commitment to the scale of the event.
Given the expected colossal crowd, only key party executives were initially invited for the foundation stone laying. Following this, the party is set to approach the Superintendent of Police's office to secure official permissions for the conference.
Well, Vijay has announced that the conference will be held on August 25.
"I am delighted to announce that the second state conference of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, the primary force in Tamil Nadu's political arena, is scheduled to take place in Madurai on Monday, August 25, 2025. Let history repeat itself with triumph," he said in a post on X.
