Telugu Journalist Killed By A BMW In Chennai; Drags Body For 100 Metres
A tragic incident occurred in Chennai when a speeding luxury car struck a video journalist on an elevated highway. The impact was so severe that the victim was thrown 100 metres from the crash site. The deceased, Pradeep Kumar, worked as a cameraperson for a Telugu news channel and also drove part-time for Rapido.
The accident took place on the Maduravoyal-Tambaram elevated bypass on Tuesday night. Kumar's motorcycle was hit by a BMW, leading to his untimely death. The driver of the BMW fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle. Commuters noticed the deserted car and informed the police.

Police Investigation Underway
Upon arrival, authorities discovered Kumar's damaged motorcycle and later found his body 100 metres away from where the collision occurred. The police are actively searching for the driver responsible for this fatal accident. Investigations are ongoing to piece together the events leading up to this tragedy.
The police confirmed that Kumar's body was located only after they attempted to reconstruct the sequence of events. It was found on a lower level of the highway, indicating he had been thrown off due to the force of the collision.
