- The associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level.
- It is likely to intensify into a Depression over the South Andaman Sea within 24 hours, and further strengthen into a Cyclonic Storm over the South Bay of Bengal within 48 hours, moving west-northwestwards.

Low Pressure Expected Near Comorin
The upper air circulation over the Comorin region persisted today.
Under its influence, a new Low Pressure Area is likely to form over Comorin and nearby parts of the Southwest Bay of Bengal and Sri Lanka on November 25, and may intensify further.
Circulation Over Southeast Arabian Sea
Another cyclonic circulation persists over the Southeast Arabian Sea, extending up to 3.1 km.
Rainfall Report (Sunday)
- Oothu (Tirunelveli) topped the charts with 23 cm, followed closely by:
- Nalumukku (Tirunelveli): 22 cm
- Sethiathope (Cuddalore), Kakkachi (Tirunelveli): 21 cm
Manjolai (Tirunelveli): 19 cmSeveral locations, including Parangipettai, Chidambaram, Bhuvanagiri, Thirukuvalai, Madukkur, Nagapattinam, Annamalai Nagar, recorded 13-14 cm.
A long list of other stations across Cuddalore, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Virudhunagar, Pudukkottai, Tenkasi, Kallakurichi, Erode, Ariyalur and Thoothukudi received 9-12 cm of rain.
