Truck mows down two youths near Gurgaon

Gurgaon, Oct 22: Two youths riding a motorbike were on Wednesday mowed down by a speeding truck, killing them on the spot, police said.

Komal, 19, and Nardeep Singh, 25, were on their way to shop for Diwali when they were mowed down by a truck on Pataudi Road near Jhund Sarai village, some 20 km from Gurgaon.

"They were going to Gurgaon city for Diwali shopping when the incident took place," a police officer said.

The bodies of the victims were handed over to their family members after the post-mortem examination.
