Prakash Singh Badal felicitates teachers
Chandigarh, Sep 5: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today honoured two eminent educationists with the state government's maiden 'Lifetime Achievement Award' on Teacher's Day.
In his congratulatory message, he said both Sister Mirabell from Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana and founder Principal Swaran Singh from Baba Aaya Singh Riarki College, Tugalwala in Gurdaspur district would act as beacons and galvanise their fellow teachers to impart value-based education to the students to enable them become ideal citizens of the society.
Badal also congratulated teachers who have been bestowed with prestigious state awards and given appreciation letters for their excellent performance as outstanding teachers.
He asked teachers across the state to further excel in the field of education with a sense of utmost devotion, sincerity and commitment.
