Haryana: Man gets ten year imprisonment for raping minor girl

Hisar, Sept 13: A local court has awarded ten years of imprisonment to a man after holding him guilty of raping a minor girl in Hansi town.
Additional District and Sessions Hisar Madhu Khanna Lali convicted Mohinder Kumar, a resident of Mandi Sainian, Hansi, yesterday.
Besides, the accused was also ordered to pay a fine of Rs 5,000 and in case of default he would further undergo an imprisonment of one month.
He forcibly took her in a car to some unknown place and raped her.
According to the complaint, Mohinder, a neighbour of victim, came to her house when she was alone on April 16, 2012.
He asked her to accompany him to Nahar Kothi, nearby place, where her mother was waiting for her.
When she reached there, he forcibly took her in a car to some unknown place and raped her, as per the complaint.
After committing the crime, he abandoned the victim at Nahar Kothi.
