Gurgaon to be developed as 'smart railway station'
Gurgaon, July 1: Union Minister of State for Planning and Defence Rao Inderjeet Singh today said that Gurgaon Railway Station will be developed as 'Smart Railway Station' in commensurate with the profile of this city.
He also dedicated number of new modern facilities and also laid foundation of Foot Over Bridge at Gurgaon Railway Station and auto car loading facility at Farukhnagar Railway Station.

The new facilities were dedicated and foundation of new works was laid today by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu through video conferencing from Rail Bhawan Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, Rao Inderjit Singh said that Gurgaon railway station will be developed as ‘smart railway station’.
He claimed that now during BJP regime, Rs 1000 crore were being spent annually on works related to railway in Haryana whereas only Rs 300 crore annually were spent during Congress tenure.
