2 minor girls raped in separate incidents in Faridabad

Faridabad, Aug 27: Two minors girls were allegedly raped in two separate incidents in Faridabad district, police said on Wednesday.

In the first case, the 15-year-old girl was at one of her relative's house when her neighbour -- identified as Sunder -- barged into her room and gagged cloth in her mouth to prevent her from screaming, according to a complaint lodged by the girl's family members.

He allegedly raped her on the night of Aug 24, after which he fled from the scene, the complaint stated. A case has been registered with Police Station Chainsa in Faridabad under section 4 of POCSO Act yesterday.

The accused has been arrested and investigations in the case are underway, police said.

Meanwhile, in another case, 13-year-old girl was allegedly repeatedly raped by a man in Faridabad, police said today.

The minor had come to stay at her caretaker Nirmala's house, when her husband -- identified as Heeralal -- raped her after finding her alone, police said.

The minor then narrated the matter to her caretaker, who told her keep quiet and not tell anybody about the incident, police said.

The second time she was raped in the presence of Nirmala, police said, adding she somehow managed to escape from the house.

The victim filed a complaint with the police, and a case was registered with the police station Saran in Faridabad against Nirmala and Heeralal under section 346, 376 and 120B of IPC and section 4 of POCSO Act.

Investigating Officer ASI Rajrani said that the police have started investigations in the case.
