Gold Rate Today April 24: IBJA Rate, 24K, 22K, 18K Gold Prices Edge Lower in Bengaluru

Gold prices edged lower on Friday morning, tracking weakness in global cues as a stronger US dollar and elevated crude oil prices weighed on sentiment. The uncertainty surrounding a potential US-Iran peace deal has kept oil prices firm, indirectly pressuring bullion. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold June futures slipped 0.32% to ₹1,51,280 per 10 grams, while silver May futures declined 0.37% to ₹2,40,610 per kg. According to data from the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association, the morning rate for 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,51,060 per 10 grams, even as the US dollar has strengthened nearly 1% this week, further dampening gold prices.

Notably, gold had previously hit an all-time high of ₹1,80,779 per 10 grams in the futures market on January 29, highlighting the current pullback.

On April 24, gold prices in Bengaluru saw a marginal and uniform decline across all purity levels. The rate for 24-carat gold now stands at ₹1,53,540 for 10 grams and ₹15,35,400 for 100 grams, reflecting a drop of ₹10 and ₹100 respectively from the previous day. Similarly, 22-carat gold is priced at ₹1,40,740 per 10 grams and ₹14,07,400 per 100 grams after witnessing the same decline. 18-carat gold also followed the trend, with prices at ₹1,15,150 for 10 grams and ₹11,51,500 for 100 grams. The consistent dip across categories indicates a minor correction in an otherwise stable market, rather than any sharp fall in prices.
