Know Who Is Mohan Majhi, New Chief Minister Of Odisha

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday announced Mohan Majhi as new chief minister for Odisha. Mohan Majhi's name was announced by senior BJP leaders Rajnath Singh and Bhupender Yadav. They also announced KV Singh Deo and Prabhati Parida's names to be Deputy Chief Ministers of Odisha.

This time, BJP registered a landslide victory to end Naveen Patnaik-led Biju Janta Dal's 24-year-old tenure.

It was also announced that oath taking ceremony for Odisha's New Chief Ministers will take place On June 12. The administration has also announced to shut all state government offices and courts in Bhubaneswar after 1 pm citing the the swearing-in ceremony of the new chief minister and council of ministers.

Who is Mohan Manjhi?

Mohan Charan Majhi has been elected as MLA from the Keonjhar constituency. He defeated BJD's Mina Majhi by a margin of 87,815 votes.
