Odisha likely to receive heavy rainfall
Bhubaneswar, Sept 22: Odisha is likely to receive heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours due to the well-marked low pressure over the westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of coastal Andhra Pradesh, the MeT office said today.
"Heavy rainfall is also likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of coastal Odisha in the next 24 hours," it said.

Under the impact of the low pressure, strong surface winds from southeast direction with speed reaching 35 to 45 kmph would prevail along and off the coast of Odisha. Sea condition would be moderate to rough, the report said.
The MeT also warned fishermen to be cautious while venturing into the sea.
