Rain continues to wreak havoc in Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal, Aug 8: At least three people have been killed in various rain related incidents reported from various parts of Madhya Pradesh in last 24 hours.
Authorities in Damoh district fished out a body after a car in which four persons were traveling in fell into a nullah in Damoh while two people lost their lives after roof of a dharamshala collapsed near Jatashankar after being hit by landslide late Sunday.
Since the onset of the monsoon, heavy rains wrecked havoc in Madhya Pradesh as several rivers are flowing above danger mark in the state.
Traffic has been badly hit in the state as swollen rivers flooded the arterial roads.

The 33 districts that have received above average rains during the monsoon this year so far are Jabalpur, Katni, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandala, Narsinghpur, Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Sidhi, Satna, Indore, Alirajpur, Khandwa, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dewas, Shajapur, Murena, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Bhopal, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Hoshangabad, Harda, and Betul.
