Bhopal, Sep 21: Aiming to extend help to five lakh entrepreneurs every year, Madhya Pradesh has framed its own start-up policy and will soon table the same before the state Cabinet for approval.

"Madhya Pradesh's own start-up policy has been framed. It will be tabled before the Cabinet soon. It was informed in a meeting chaired by the State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan last evening to review the performance of various departments including Industries," an official of the Public Relation Department said today.

"Necessary amendments are being made in land allotment rules for small and micro industries. Help will be extended to five lakh entrepreneurs for setting up their self-employment every year," the official said.

The Chief Minister also issued instructions to make an effective single window system and also instructed all departments to use it for facilitating investors, especially before proposed Global Investors Summit at Indore next month.

While reviewing performance of Micro and Small Industries Department, he said that promoting micro and small industries is the government's priority because they provide jobs to youths.

He gave instructions to hold coordination meetings with banks to remove difficulties in getting loan for young entrepreneurs, the official said.

Expressing displeasure over banks' demand for guarantee for loan from young entrepreneurs, despite the government providing the same, Chouhan said that this should be brought to the knowledge of the Union Finance Minister, the official added.
